Abstract: Under E-administration environment, the government is the biggest owner of administrative information resources, also is the biggest producer, user and promulgator of administrative infomation. Whether the government is able to fully develop and efficiently utilize information resources is the crucial sector of accurately and high efficiently perform state administrative functions and power. This paper based on researching the government information resources components and characteristics etc. analyses the status of the government information resources development and utilization in China, and gives the strategy of development and utilization of the government information resources in China.
